EASTER MONDAY SCHEDULE –
Street Department is closed Monday April 6,2026 in observance of Easter. Will reopen Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
YARD WASTE WILL BE PICKED UP TUESDAY APRIL 7, 2026.
2026 YARD WASTE – Yard Waste Stickers are now on sale at Gerritys in Luzerne for the cost of $30.00. Sticker is not valid until the completed stub is dropped off at the Borough Building, 144 Academy St, Luzerne, Pa. Stubs can be dropped off in the mail slot.
YARD WASTE started Monday, March 30, 2026.
LUZERNE SEWER AUTHORITY BILL – Will be arriving April 1,2026 and are due in 30 days. Bills are payable at the Luzerne Borough Building, 144 Academy St. Luzerne, PA 18709
TAX COLLECTOR- 2026 COUNTY/MUNICIPAL TAXES DUE AT REBATE THROUGH April 21, 2026. Office hours are Mondays & Thursdays 6pm-8pm also Saturdays 10am-12 noon.
